Title:  2026 Sexual Assault Training - 101

PURPOSE OF TRAINING: Historical trauma, systemic racism, stigma, and mistrust of service systems can all serve as barriers to Black survivors when it comes to participating in healing programs. The purpose of this training is to have candid conversations about effective, culturally responsive strategies to engage Black survivors of sexual assault and encourage their participation in support groups. This training is designed to help service providers ensure that their services are inclusive, responsive, and grounded in best practices that center the voices and needs of Black survivors.
