A Walk a Mile in Her Shoes Event is a playful opportunity for men to raise awareness in their community about the serious causes, effects and remediation’s to men’s sexualized violence against women. … Walk a Mile in Her Shoes® asks men to literally walk one mile in women’s high-heeled shoes. This is DSU’s third time to host the event on campus and this year is expected to be the largest turn out yet, with over 90 men registered. We have 6 different fraternities registered along with administration, professors, community members, and athletes.
Walk to raise awareness about the causes, effects and remedies to sexualized violence against women.
